1st edition; Hbk with d/w; ex-lib copy with neat lib stamps only on rear of title page; dust wrapper not price clipped ( o/p 30s ) but is slightly grubby and has very small loss to spine ends and minor closed tears at top; front & rear boards of book have evidence of sellotape marks but are obviously hidden by the dw, otherwise G++/Vg-; fairly scarce title in this edition.

h/b in d/w; 8vo; ex-university library copy with stamps on fep and title page, nevertheless this book has been hardly used and is still Vg/Vg+; the dustwrapper is in beautiful condition; someone has written D Watkins Pitchford on the title page, but we do not believe this was the author - maybe the librarian?
